How It Works
Categories, Topics & Tags —
what each one does.
Categories
Domain-specific filteringThink of categories as broad neighbourhoods — tech, art, science, gaming, and more. They act as a first-pass filter so you can narrow the feed to a specific domain. Every link lives under exactly one category.
Topics
60 curated collectionsInside each category, topics are pre-defined, editor-curated buckets (60 in total). When you post a link you assign it a topic — this keeps the feed organised without the chaos of free-form labels. Think "CSS" under Tech, or "Oil Painting" under Art.
Tags
Free-form, user-defined — use sparinglyTags are ad-hoc keywords you invent on the fly. They're flexible but can get chaotic — "webdev", "web-dev", "web development" all coexist. Use tags for micro-categorisation that the curated topics don't cover, but prefer topics for discoverability.

Full Platform Guide
Everything you can do on LnkZoo,
explained step by step.
The Feed is your central stream of links. Use the tabs, sort controls, search bar, and category/topic filters to surface exactly what you want to see.
Tabbed Feed
On the home page, switch between "Following" (links from people you follow), "Explore" (all public links), and "For You" (algorithmic suggestions). Each tab pulls from the same link pool but applies different visibility and ranking rules.
Sort & Filter
Use the sort dropdown to order links by Newest, Oldest, or Most Likes. Combine sort with the category or topic filter to narrow results — e.g. "Explore" + "Tech" category + "Most Likes" shows the top tech links.
Search
The search bar on the home page and /explore page searches link titles and descriptions. Results are shown in a unified card view you can further filter by category or tags.
Daily Dose
Visit /daily-dose for a curated daily digest of 5 top links picked by the community. Updated every 24 hours — a quick way to catch what you missed.
Random / Roulette
Head to /random for "Internet Roulette" — click the button to surface a random public link every 10 seconds. Great for serendipitous discovery.
